If you paid for your copy of Acronis, you can call their support and get them to issue you a fix. Hello!I don't know any other software to do that, but i'll give you step by step guide how to do it with acronis with no problem. Clunky, silly, and there is no excuse for it, IMO.BootItNG does have a multi-OS boot manager which exists entirely outside of the Windows software, so it works with other operating systems, such as Linux and BSD. One must boot into an OS, then shut down from there. One should be able to shut down one's PC once one has the BootItNG boot manager app on screen, but, AFAIK, they never added this button. And Acronis has scheduled back-ups, too. There are certain features of BootItNG which have never been changed but should be. BootItNG is less expensive, but not if you value your time and your disk space. Acronis is considerably faster, produces smaller files, and is easier to use, by far. just switched to Acronis True Image 11 after years of using BootItNG, and am glad I did. I have never put it on a USB drive but I am pretty sure one could do so. It is an 8 megabyte piece of software which uses the FAT file system to accomplish all of its tasks. It has some more features than Acronis True Image.
